USAID Market Research and Design Solutions
United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and U.S-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) supported Al-Khuzama Weal Nafal Safawi Women’s Charity that aimed at enabling women to enter the job market through training them to use handicraft skills and create homemade items and objects that they could sell for living. USAID and MEPI assigned us to create a visual system and identity for the center. The mission began by researching similar successful organizations, brainstorming, and jotting down all the visual ideas that would represent the core of work of the center.
We created a visual identity that encapsulated how women who were once dependent developed a set of skills, met new people and community leaders, and reached a level of independence.
United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is the lead U.S. Government agency that works to end extreme global poverty and enable resilient, democratic societies to realize their potential. USAID leads international development and humanitarian efforts to save lives, reduce poverty, strengthen democratic governance, and help people progress beyond assistance. USAID is the world’s premier international development agency and a catalytic actor driving development results. USAID works to help lift lives, build communities, and advance democracy. USAID work advances U.S. national security and economic prosperity; demonstrates American generosity; and promotes a path to recipient self-reliance and resilience. Aiming to advance stability and prosperity in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) program supports governments and their citizens to achieve shared political, economic and stability objectives. The MEPI program responds to demands and emerging opportunities for citizens and organizations that target two core objectives: Participatory Governance, Economic Opportunity. A cross cutting theme is the focus on government-citizen relations: empowering partnerships between citizens, non-governmental organizations, the private sector, and government institutions to promote shared solutions for the people of MENA. The U.S-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) supports organizations and individuals in their efforts to promote political, economic, and social reform in the Middle East and North Africa.
