We worked on auditing Microfund for Women brand, analyzed internal factors like its positioning, brand values, product and service positioning, as well as the brand visual system like its identity, marketing collaterals, website, and social media. Qualitative and quantitative researches were conducted; they included surveys and focus group sessions. Research results were used to create strategies and plans to boost the corporate performance and status as well as portray its focus on empowering women. A branding strategy was later developed to lay out the actions MFW should take. Raising awareness of MFW’s role in the community relied on a communication strategy we developed.
Designing the visuals that would represent the brand image and identity of MFW was also among our responsibilities. For the visual part of the campaign, marketing collateral were creatively designed to showcase the credit financial and non-credit financial services offered by MFW, combining them with previous stories of success. We designed MFW’s booth at Sanabel 10th conference in Dubai beside annual reports published on MFW website. Together with this, an advertising campaign that showcased MFW brand values and achievements was launched.
Microfund for Women (MFW) is a private, non-profit microfinance institution that seeks to dismantle the obstacles preventing the entrepreneurial poor, especially women, from building better lives for their families by providing collateral-free loans to start or strengthen their own businesses. These businesses, though typically small, enable borrowers to accumulate assets, create jobs for others, and work their way out of poverty.
