Community resistance against women joining the work field drove Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Department of Palestinian Affairs (DPA) to consult Imagine Group to launch JICA’s “Forsati” (My Chance) campaign that targets Palestinian women in refugee camps. A thorough research was conducted; results and recommendations were utilized to formulate social marketing strategies and behavioral change programs associated with a comprehensive communication plan. The developed strategies were translated into capacity building programs delivered by trainers to DPA staff working at training and employment centers in Hitteen and Souf camps.
